Hi -
I'm trying to set up transactional replication; in the past, the servers I've used to do this have been running MSSQL 2000 Enterprise Edition and have worked fine. At my current job, the servers are running MSSQL 2000 Standard Edition. I configured one server to be the publisher and create the initial snapshot so the 2nd server can access it via a pull subscription. In trying to create the initial snapshot, I get this message 'Agents have not been registered properly. Please re-run SQL Server Setup'. Has anyone ever seen this before and is it because I'm running Standard Edition on the servers? I can't see much in the logs to give you as any additional information.

Would you mind posting your resolution on this issue?
I'm in the midst setting up transactional replication (SQL 200 Standard Edition) and I might encounter the same problem.
