Replication is a feature of MSSQL using which you can replicate\transfer data across different database servers.
Few Imp. terminologies are:
Publisher: The server which contains the data to be replicated.
Distributer: A server which collects the data and sends it to subscriber
Subscriber: The server which receives the data.
Two mainly used replication are: 1.Transactional(One Way) 2.Merge(Two Way)
Actually there a lot to read about it. its also very interesting.
