When choosing to replicate an idexed view with a transactional, immediate replication i see an option to create instead of a view at the subscriber a table. But this is grayed, whatever type of replication i"m choosing (snapshot/transactional) and update type (immedita/queued) this option stays grayed.
What are the 'conditions' needed on whatever to be able to choose this option ??
Kind Regards

This probably isn't of any help, but we use merge replication and when you try to add an indexed view, it crashes replication (known 'problem' with Microsoft). Maybe transactional replication is a little smarter and doesn't let you try to do it in the first place.

To Sue Meunier
Form BOL:
Database Object | Snapshot Replication or Transactional Replication | Merge Replication |
Tables | X | X |
Stored Procedures – Definition | X | X |
Stored Procedures – Execution | X
Views | X | X |
Indexed Views | X | X |
Indexed Views as Tables | X
User-Defined Functions | X | X |
to HLEBOEUF
FROM BOL (Help button on Indexed View article, General Tab - Publication Wizard)
In snapshot and transactional publications that do not allow updatable subscriptions, you can specify whether indexed view articles create an indexed view or a table at the Subscriber. Indexed view articles in merge publications always create an indexed view at the Subscriber.

Thx, but how can i set in the wizzard when creating the publication that it should not allow updatable publications, i couldn't find that option, even with the advanced properties on.
