Renaming the computer that hosts an instance of Analysis Services

    I have seen MSDN articles on steps to rename a computer that hosts a SQL instance. Does anyone know the steps / things to watch out for / Dos & Don'ts? Much appreciated.:-)

    You don't have to do a thing. I am speaking from experience...SQL Server will pick up the new server name for both SQL Service and Analysis Services. This is a good thing about SQL and really should have been documented loud and clear by MS as it adds positive points to SQL...:smooooth:
