  Has anyone ever had to script the renaming of a report? I am in the situation now where my thought process is leading me to use profiler to copy the SQL executed by the report manager when renaming a report through the UI takes place. I checked the .Net methods and didn't find anything either.

  Anyone? Bueller...Bueller?

  It is nothing complicated - just update the Name field in the Catalog table.

  Still, I would make sure you have a good backup before starting this endeavor.
