Hi,
I have a reportServerTempDB having 10 ndf files, which were created unnecessarily. I want to have only 1 mdf file and NO secondary (ndf) files.
I took the backup of the reportServerTempDB. So while restoring, what are the steps I need to perform inorder NOT to have any ndf files?
How should I move data from ndf files to mdf file before removing ndf files?
Please provide your inputs.
Thanks

Oh, and the link provided by Bru is what I would have recommended. Empty the files to other files in the group and then drop the file - you can see the steps in that link.
