    How I can configure or manage(given permission,backup, etc.....) SQL Server remotely on my client pc?

    Management Studio. Unless the SQL Server instance is on your local workstation, you are always managing permissions remotely.

    Thank you for your replay.. actually I am always working on the server directly if I want to do something on the SQL Server... but could you tell me pls which option is needed to install on the client PC that contain the SSMS???
