I am having trouble figuring out what you are trying to do since you mentioned you dont have SSRS installed on you local machine, which is inapplicable when using RDP to the remote server where it is running.

Have you tried connecting to the report website on the server from your local machine?

    try http://servername/reports.

SSRS permissions is not linked to RDP access on the local machine for the remote server you are trying to log onto.

    Please provide more details?

Now I am even more confused. So you do have SSRS on your local machine?

Looks like you simply don't have access to the server you are trying to deploy to.

  • ya.. Access denied to connect server....below mentioned error msg throwing..

    ERROR MESSAGE:

A connection To the computer cannot be established . Access denied

  • Then as Henrico noted, you don't have access to that report server instance. You need to be in the publisher role on the destination server in order to publish reports from VS.

  • Hi,

as Luke said you dont need remote desktop access to publish a report.

the server should have reporting services installed and you should have access as publisher. then you can access the server and host the reports.

    hope this helps.
