I had problems with my db and I decided to start over again however when I re-install SQL2k on my box again it says that my machine can't access or doesn't have rights? What can I do ? Because I can't install sql back on my machine. Any suggestions? I'm using standard edition. I've tried to delete every instance of sql that I've seen on my box. HELP! |

Apparently something went terribly wrong. I will try to work with you step by step. Please do the first step and post the results. I will be waiting.
STEP # 1
1- Uninstall SQL Server
To remove SQL Server from a computer you must Uninstall using either the SQL Server SETUP program or through the Add/Remove Programs dialog box from the Control Panel.
When SQL Server is removed, all Registry entries for SQL Server and related files are also removed.
