Dear All,
I was completely into development (VB, ASP, COLDFUSION, D2K etc.. ) and very recently got into database Administration. I realy enjoy my new profile and decided to concentrate and stick to more on Databse Administration(SQL Server 2005). I would like to do some certification on this (like MCDBA.).
Can any one suggest a good certification which will be an added advantage to my experience and how to get the same.?
How to prepare for the exam and how expensive it will be.?
Thanks,
Santhosh Nair.

The MCDBA is for SQL 2000 and is close to retirement, if not already retired.
Look at the MCITP (Database admin) for SQL 2005.

Have a look at the Certification forum (under Career) - there are lots of posts around this subject
