reg. Trans. replication

  • folks,

I have a servr that is config. with Tran. repl. with push type. I try to insert a row in the source and checked if it is replicated but the row has not, also i could find some errors on MSrepl_error table saying "Table '%s' may be out of synchronization. Rowcounts (actual: %s, expected: %s). Rowcount method %d used (0 = Full, 1 = Fast)."

I do not know whether the sync is really happening .

    Let me know your thoughts......

  • Hi,

Was a snapshot initially pushed out so that you had a synchronised start point.

Have you check identites on the tables?

Are your identites set for not for replication?

Are your logreader and distribution agents running correctly?

Just a couple of things to start with.

    Regards

    Graeme

  • Thanx for the response.

Initially when starting the replication the snapshot was pushed and was in sync.

There are no identity set for the table.

The log reader and the distribution readers find no errors and running fine.

We have again re-initialized the subscription and it is currently fine and could find the tables in sync.  What i require is how do i  monitor  the replication if any error occurs or when replication fails...... do anyone have any scripts to monitor kind of.....
