Now we want to migrate crystal reports to SQL server 2005 reporting service reports.
Right now i am using the Stored Procedures whicch are used in crystal reports for generating reports through Reporting Services.... is there any alternate way to directly migrate reports from Crystal reports to Reporting service reports

Try Crystal Report Migration Services.
http://www.crystalmigrater.com/Default.aspx
It converts rpt to SSRS 2008 format. If you have quite a lot report to convert, it is possible to change the engine for SSRS 2005 as well.

FYI .................Hey everyone this http://www.crystalmigrater.com/Default.aspx
is a fraud. They just want to bait you into paying them money and then all you get is a .pdf file. It doesn't matter if you paid or not. I have tried to contact them by email and they will not respond.

You should try http://www.crystalconversions.com, they're a Microsoft Business Intelligence Partner that you can find at: http://www.microsoft.com/bi/en-us/partners/pages/CrystalConversions.aspx
They give you free conversions so you can try before you buy.

Microsoft used to have a white paper on it here: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/techinfo/whitepapers/migrate-crystal-to-reporting-services.mspx
But its gone now. I may have a copy sitting around on an old laptop...
I've done quite a few Crystal to SSRS conversions. It's painful and takes a lot of time!
I encourage you to have a look at http://www.CrystalConversions.com and make your own conclusions about whether its worth doing manually,
or pay a small amount for it to be done for you.

Found where they moved it to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/aa964127(v=sql.90)
It was written for SQL 2005, though a lot of it is still relevant if you're doing manual conversion.
