Hi All,
i need a help to export tabledata to a csv file with the BCP utility with the following requirements.
The file should be in comma delimited format (csv), with each field enclosed in double quotes as there may be either commas or special characters in a data field.
i think , we can do this the help of DTS with TEXTQUALIFIER as ""( double quote) and column delimiter as ,(Comma). But i have no idea to perform this operation with BCP utility.
Could any one of u please respond to me ?

This isn't an answer to your question... just another request for the same information.
I have a BCP procedure set up that exports all the tables in a database just fine in tab delimited format. Now the client wants comma delimited with fields encapsulated within quotation marks.
Can't find a way to do this in BCP and there are 326 tables involved.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
