what are the possible ways to refresh the database in SQL ?

What do u mean by refersh?
U dont know the ACID Property.

The only way to refresh a database is right clicking database node in object explorer and clicking on refresh. You can not do it by t-sql query or other way.

SSMS can be a little finicky and does not automatically refresh. You can select any part of the tree nodes and refresh at the highest level or by selecting something specific. Ie a DB or an agent job etc. This can be done by right click | refresh or selecting the refresh in the menu bar.
