I was surprised to find the Log Space used on the ModelDB at 93%. Isn't that a static DB? Does anyone have a "best practice" for reducing?
Thanks

It can be pretty static, but it can also have stuff in it if someone (hopefully a DBA) decided that all future databases on that server should have those things. In that case, you would have log activity.
Personally, I have a number of things that I like to add to model, like a synonym for my Numbers table, more intelligent auto-growth than the default 10%, a few user accounts that are common to the whole server, and so on. It's a small list, but a key one.
If someone's done something like that, then the model log would have transactions in it.
