recovery mode comparison

    Hello,

    We are writing a lot into the database.

    At present the mode is set to simple. If changed to bulk logged then will the bulk operations be quicker?

    No.

    If you switch to bulk-logged, you'll have to take log backups, that's the only difference.

    The nest questions would be.... do you have anything in the database that you couldn't easily recreate and are you backing up the database on a very regular basis.
