Rebilding Indexes on a table with 100Million + rows

    In my case I see most of the tables have a high Extent fragmentation.

    Now, my guess is Logical Fragmentation is what we fix with re-indexing.

    I am back to sqaure one now, why is there a high extent fragmentation and why does it not reach '0.01%' after reindexing as is the case with logical fragmentation.
