What is the process to reapply the original or first snapshot created in Transactional Replication ? Does reinitializing the subscriber do this or will a new snapshot have to be rgenerated ?
Also, what is the process to reapply the previous commands stored in the dustribution database to the subscribers ?
Thanks

Hi,
If I remember correctly. If you reinitialize the subscriber, it will apply the next snapshot created by the snapshot agent (run at the publisher). This is basically ensuring that you have the same data and schema on Publisher and subscriber.

After reinitializing you must run the snapshot aqent or wait until it runs itself (once per week). Then you must run the snapshot agent or wait until it runs itself.
