Reading Data from Execl and inserting into sql server Tables

    Hi,

    I have a crucial requirment where in My CLient will send me an Excel sheet and i need to extract the data in insert into the database Table.....

    If its just data with rows and column in One Table format ..I know How to read the data and insert it into Tables...

    My Excel sheet has multiple Tables within the same sheet( sample format attached )..and i need to read each table and insert into respective Database Table....

    Please help me out in this....Many thanks in Advance....

    Try SSIS, i remember one of my friend doing this on SSIS, Hope this helps 🙂

    Thanks for quick response...

    I have worked with SSIS too... and I have read Flat/CSV files and have done many transformation.. (but in this case we have definate fix columns.....in short I would read it from one table only)

    but as per scenario given...I really do not know How we can read Multiple section(Tables) in excel using SSIS....

    SUggestion/Help would be appreciated...
