I have created a view and a user that I have given that use Select permissions on that view. This is the only permission I have given that user. Is there a way that I can block the user from seeing anything else on the database server besides that view? For example if I log into the database server as that user through Enterprise manager, I am able to see all the other databases on that server. I can drill down and see the table names, if I try to open a table or select against it, I get a permission denied, as expected. But if I could block even knowing other objects exist would be preferable. Is there any way to do this, or did I make a mistake creating the user?
Thanks,

I don't think there is a way to do what you're asking.
You can remove EM all together from that user and let them use Excel.
Here is how:
