Why would a Windows cluster service cause SQL Server to stop and start? Over the span of 40 minutes, the cluster service sent stop and start controls to SQL Server and SQL Server Agent about 8 times. After the 40 minute span, this consistent stop/start behavior has not occurred.
I'm running a 2 node, SQL Server 2005 SP3 clustered environment in Active-Passive mode on top of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2.
Attached is the Windows server cluster log.

Are you referring to the "Heartbeat NIC" in Cluster Administrator? If so, I didn't see any problems with it (i.e., I didn't see anything unusual in the attached cluster.log file). However, I have very little experience dealing with clustered environments, so I may be looking at the wrong place.
