Dear all,
My Datacenter team wants to use RDK disks instead od SSD on our DB server.
I don't understand what is this and the advantages against SSD
Can someone explain?
Thanks,
Pedro

Do you mean RDM? Not heard of RDK before?

Probably

From a quick Google search RDM (Raw Disk Mode) is a method of configuring disks on VM server. SSDs are solid state drives and are used to replace standard HDD drives like SATA and SCSI disks.

If it really is raw disks/partitions, please get them to explain why and what data do they have to back their "why".
In the days where server disks spun at 7200rpm and IOPs were in ~100 range, raw partitions provide just enough performance boost to make it worthwhile especially for the log. Benchmarks in particular, liked raw partitions because benchmarks didn't live in the real world where you have to manage the database for more than a few weeks or months.
All of the limitations of raw partitions aside (though they are important), the small perf gain you might get from raw partitions (assuming your DC folks meant implementing on spindle based HDD) won't even come close to a fraction of what the lowest end enterprise SSD will give you. Just don't do it.
Now if RDM or RDK means something else entirely then please do provide details.

is this a virtual machine?
RDMs are raw device mappings, these are LUNs presented to the virtual machine via the hypervisor host from a remote storage system.
RDMs actually offload the I\O capacity to the remote storage system so are usually better for most I\O especially random I\O.
Find out and provide more detail for further help
