Hi everyone
I hope you're all doing great
We've implemented SP 2013 using SQL server 2012 with file streaming enabled and RBS.
Now we have over 35 databases with about 20 content database and RBS folders for each one.
The transaction log files are huge!! I've setup a job to backup the log files every 2 hours to see if the size of the logs remain decent.
However what do I do with the size of the RBS folders?
Are there ways of shrinking them?
Kindly advise as I'm not an expert on FS and RBS.
Have a lovely day

Are the Remote Blob Storage folders too large?
😎
I would seriously consider backing up the transaction logs more frequently, especially on a busy system.

The biggest RBS folder is 700GB and the database file is 300 GB. Something is wrong with the setup. Right?
Are these sizes normal?
