Morning all,
Our network admins are planning on raising the domain functional level from 2k Native to 2k3 in the coming week and have asked me if there are any concerns from the SQL side. As i have not been through this process before i immediately hit google but cant find anything that seems to raise any concern at all, so im hoping all will be just fine. Has anyone got any advice on what to look out for? Any experience in doing this and any problems it has caused?
Many thanks in advance for your replies.
ps, i believe at the 2k and 2k3 level this process is effectively one way anyway and its very difficult to reverse so i would just like to be prepared as possible if something does go wrong 🙂

Hope this link answers your question,
Thanks for the link, ive just read through it and that appears to be a "how to" guide to raising the level, which im not involved in. I was looking purely for any effect it would have on our sql boxes. From that link there doesnt seem to be anything that worries me at all, but it doesnt specifically mention anything about sql.
