  • trick question. A single disk can be set up as RAID 5 by partitioning it into three logical drives. As to *why* someone would do that, I do not know, but it can be done. Since the question was ambiguous as to physical or logical drives, 1 should be a correct answer.

  • There is no trick. When we specify drives, you should assume physical drives. The same applies on the Microsoft exams. There is no intention to trick you or come up with a weird situation, but ensure that you understand the definitions and concepts.
