Raid 1 or raid 10

  Hello.

  What is the best, Tempdb and Ldf's users databases in a Raid 10 with two volumes or one Raid 1 for each?

  I would probably go RAID 10, mirroring and striping. You get the redundancy and a performance boost. A lot depends on the controller though..

  +1 for R10. I'd go 4 files as well to start as that's the latest CSS recommendation.
