Less than a thousand to go. I think it'll take another couple of days, but it's sure to be this week.

I have had the perception that this "race to one million" is becoming like one of those short track cycling races. Moving along slowly, playing cat and mouse, until the final few laps. Then there is an all out flurry to the finish line. I expect the number of posts to get a little "flurry-like" today and/or tomorrow...Just my $.02 worth...
Ha ha, what a great image you created. I am envisioning a pack of SSC posters, Apolo Ohno-like, biding their time until the last few moments. Then one of them pounces and wins by a blade tip. In the final mad scramble, who knows whether any of the posted content will make any sense! :hehe:
Thanks!

Let's predict that it will happen on the 7th - to match the Thread prediction.;-)

Fewer than 600 to go.... It seems like it'll happen within the next 24 hours, especially if this thread heats up any more!

It should be in the next 24 hours. I think we're doing around a 1,000 a day in posts.

Will lights go off or horns sound or a little HUZZAH sound come out of the speaker for the person who hits 1m?
