Race to post 1,000,000

  • knowing how other things have gone from time to time, one might think the Thread would get that coveted post number. But yeah I'd take the field in a heartbeat.

  • The field is the better bet, for sure. But it's not about total post, it's about hitting the forums on the right day. Some random person is likely to get it, but given the regularity, especially on the weekends, there's a decent chance it will be one of the top 10 posters from the last 30 days.

I think we're a ways away. I should get an average #posts/day. It used to be around 400, but I'm sure it's higher now.

  • Since I noticed how close we were last thursday or friday - we have posted 3k overall at SSC.

That is quite few posts in that +- week.

If we keep at that pace it will be about 3 weeks.

Yes - and it is working

It's like quicksand, the more you try to leave the more it draws you in.

I have a new theory. Steve gets paid by the post made by others. He now has several accounts under aliases. Likely Jeff Moden is one (I've never met him so how do I know he exists?). That is how this thread got started.

Interesting theory - I could put credence to that.

  • I wish I got paid by the post. I spend too much time here some days, and it gets me jammed up in other areas.
