  Hi.. I'm installing R services for the first time.. I have a few questions Please assist

  1. If we update the database engine, is it necessary to update r services
  2. How can we check the patch releases for R services
  3. How to perform backup and restore in R- services

  R services in the database are a part of the core engine. The CUs/SPs will update r services. The code used is the same as other code. Nothing really for you to worry about.
