I don't know if this issue has been posted before, but sometimes when I reply on a topic using the quote button, the quote itself is incorrect.
For example, I quote on the 3rd reply, but the quote in my textbox is actually the first post of the original poster. I've experienced this issue from time to time, and usually it occurs when someone else is also replying on the same thread.

Frequent problem, and you've corrected pegged it to others posting to the same thread while you were reading it. Just refresh the browser page before clicking the quote button.

Yes, it's a bug in the system when two people are posting at similar times. Low priority, but it's on our list.

Low priority? This happens to me a few times a week 🙁
(maybe I should type faster :-))
Today I had a similar bug. I was typing a reply, got a phone call and finished my reply about 15 minutes later. At that time, several other people had replied. When I replied, I got a nasty asp.net error page in my browser.

Sorry, it's low priority when compared with other things. It's rarely reported and I answer questions almost daily and rarely see it as well.

Don't apologize, it's just a minor inconvenience.
"It's rarely reported" --> now you're just messing with statistics 😀 :hehe:
