  Hello, I am interested in setting up a Safety OFF mirrored environment /w snapshots for reporting use. These snapshots will be accessed by report users that will query it throughout the day.

  My question is, in cases of long batch queries (especially ones without nolock) will it affect the mirroring process in anyway (i.e. buildup of redo queue, or send queue on principle)?

  There might be a chance when the data in the mirrored server changes. AS the snapshot file grows thoug it wwill not affect the database mirroring directly. Your snapshot might have performance hinges.
