Question Regarding SQL Server 2008 Merge Replication

    Patti - either peer to peer or merge would both give you the same functionality in your case. I"m more comfortable with peer to peer and in my case performance was a lot better, but it could be the opposite for you. You should set up a couple sandbox instances and play around with it and see which one you'll feel more comfortable administering. In the end, you're the one supporting it.

    Either way, I am going to have 2 distributors, 2 publishers and 2 subscribers. Is that safe to say Derrick and Matt? There is no one Central Site but I tend to think of the source database SRVR1/INSTANCE/DB (the database in NY) as the Central Site. You all have been awesome to talk with. Makes me feel better because this is new.
