Hi ,
I have Database Mirrorring setup between Server A and Server B . There is no witness server .
Will there be an issue if Server A & Server B reboot at the same time ?
Thank you

Hi Perry,
Will it possible if both servers reboot at the same time , it would caused one of the server to be in hung state ?

not something i have ever seen before, the databases will synchronise when they both restart.
Build yourself a couple of virtual machines and try it 😉

Hi Zaty
What type of mirroring do you have set up? High performance (asynchronous) or high availability (synchronous)?
Obviously if both boxes are rebooting the database will not be available. Mirroring should pick back up once the systems reboot, whichever box starts first will become the principal and the mirror will then update itself once it comes online.
Be careful if only the principal is available for a particular length of time as your transaction log may fill up.
I don't understand why you would want to reboot both boxes concurrently - the point of mirroring is to ensure at least one box is up and running. I presume you are thinking worst case scenario if both boxes are unavailable.
Mike.

it does depend, in certain scenarios the mirror database will stay disconnected in recovery when both machines have restarted and the mirror comes back up first.
