Is there some feature in place that only allows you to see certain forums upon reaching a certain posting distinction? Just curious, because I've seen this on other forums in the past, and was just wondering if we exercise this option here.

Oh yes, there's a whole elite level of forums where we actually post only real answers instead of the usual pile of... oh my god... ninjas... arggghhhh!!!!
Nothing to see here. Same person typing. Move along.

Yes. There are super-secret forums that only people with 0 posts are allowed to see. The rest of us have to make do with whatever else is available.
You must have missed those when you first came in. Too bad you'll never see them now! π
But honestly, no, there are no secret forums here that I know about. And if they were "points" based, I'd probably be in them somewhere. Or else Gail, Jeff, and Steve have their own forum and can't be bothered with just e-mailing each other for anything private to say.

Access to the βsecretβ forums is post count based, but Steve makes exceptions on a cash basis.
You can contact him via private message to negotiate terms.

Just keep in mind, the content on the paid forums is all posted by people who have posted to this thread, and shows the same exact level of ... well ... whatever. π

I tried that and still can't get to that secret place. Did I get robbed?!? :w00t:
There is one super-secret SSC forum I hear tell about where only the poster with the most points can post.... talking to themselves. π

Dag nab it! I knew there was super duper secret agent style forums out there! It's where questions are answered before they are even asked by the SQL Oracle (no pun intended!)
π
P.S. Gail! I am completely surprisedl! Everyone knows that SQL Geeks have no sense of humor! LOL!

SQL Oracle. Must be that new hybrid database engine I heard rumors about. It combines the DB engines into one. The code name for it is Ora Seek Well.

There once was a forum like this. I got a "free" look after being the first one to 10K posts and the first and only poster to ever beat out Steve.
It was called free tickets to PASS in Denver. Best live forum ever. :hehe:

Wait... then... who the heck is responding to me on the 1k+ posters board?
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.
