Hi
I have few questions regarding the captioned:
1. Maximum/optimum number of joins to be used in a query.
2. What are the different parameters that needs to be checked during query tuning.
3. Which are the critical ones.
Thanks in advance.
Regards

You might want to check Grant Fritchey's book on Execution Plans. Understanding Execution Plans could help you considerably in tuning your queries.
