I have a user report that runs in > 1 minute in one environment and takes over 22 minutes???
The 2 servers are built the same, 1 is live the other UAT, the database in UAT is a copy of live about a month ago and the execution plan shows exactly the same on both servers.
The query is generated by Report Builder and so has quite a few dynamic views in it, I have checked that the temp db usage is not impacting adversely on the one server over the other
Any helpful suggestions would be gratefully received

I think this is may be your hardware configuration is different in both machine.
Pls do the following things
1. Disable Parallel query execution .
2. Check statistics are up to date.

Hi There
I like the way you think, but the configuration is very carefully the same in both environment, I will check the statistics, which I should have done before.

So the query is slow on live server or UAT ? However, at first seems like not having updated statistics or the blocking on concerned server (if you found execution plan to be same on both servers & you are viewing actual execution plan rather than estimated).
