  Can someone tell me how to automatically maximize the query pane of Query Analyzer when I open Query Analyzer? (Not maximize the whole QA program window, but the query pane?

  I don't know about automatically, but you can type ALT + - (minus) + X.

  Mine has opened non-maximized for a long time, but I can't figure out how to permanently fix it.

  The shortcut will help for now!
