Whenever I save a script or open a saved script, then try to close Query Analyzer, it hangs. I have to kill it from TaskMgr. I'm saving/opening scripts from my local drive.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling SQL tools. No recent PC changes to speak of (no new installs or patches).
Any ideas?

odd issue
What version of query analyzer are you using? (see Help->About)
sql server 2000 sp1 mentions a fix
Query Analyzer Hangs After You Drag && Drop Files Into the Query Editor and You Close One of the Newly Created Windows

I've got the same issue with QA ever since we upgraded our machines.
We are running SQL Server 2000 developers edition with SP3.
Our production machines with SQL Server 2000 Enterise / standard edition works just fine.

There's a fix for this in SP4 - worked for my users.
