Currently, I have a server with a single processor that runs SQL Server Enterprise addition. I will be moving to a Server with quad processors. What if anything do I have to do concerning licensing?
Thanks for your help

If you are running per proc licensing you will have to buy the other lic per proc if you are running per client then you don't have to do anything.

Burthold has it right. Unless you are using unauthenticated users, like from teh Itnenret, you are ok. Assuming you are already licensed.

Are there no configuration changes to make then? And what if you are using un-authenticated users?
I assume all you have to do is run the SQL Server Licensing Setup from control panel, but there I notice that you can not switch between per seat and per processor modes.
I am wondering about this as I have to build a server for a client but only have 2 procesors right now, so will have to go back and add 2 more processors at a later date.
