Dead line should be imposed for QOD.
Otherwise people can look the answers from the newsletter. This will esential for monthly contest.

We've talked about this before. I think points only accumulate for the first day (before the next newsletter) and then it's just a learning thing. However with the site cutover to ASP.NET in progress, we might have missed something.

Agree with Steve, once we finish up the forum fixes and move on to other stuff we'll take a harder look at the QOD stuff. It's fun to keep score and all, but ultimately we like to focus more on the learning. But if we're going to keep score we should do it well!

Don't remove option to answer old questions. this would be very much the case when someone comes back after few days (rom a vacation, leave etc.)
I suggest you remove answer being sent in newsletter. Instead of the answer, put a link in newsletter, which shows answer only for those who have already attempted question. That link should check if a user has not answered that question, it should throw up question first.
