When I change connection in the object browser in Query Analyser and click the New button, the new query window still uses the old connection. I always end up right clicking an object, scripting it and then deleting the script in order to get a query window pointing to the right connection. Is there an easier way?

Not that I've seen. I typically run a different instance of QA for different connections.

It seems there is no connection between the Window menu and the drop down list in the object browes panel.
The only possibility I see actually is to change the query window is to hit CTRL + TAB or chose your window in the [Window] menu.
For each new connection you will have a new window.
