Hi All,
I have developed some reports (using SSRS 2005) on my test server and they are running fine. But while publishing them on a production server, none of them seems to be working.
I have copied and deployed some individual reports to the production server and not the full report project. For the individual reports to run do we need to publish the whole report project? We are using the same SQL Server database in the producton environment as we are in the testing one. What can be possible causes for the non-functioning of the reports in the production environment?
I'll really be indebted to anyone who can find some solution for this.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Niraj,
I'm getting the following error -
'A conection with the datasource could not be established'
I cannot comprehend why this error is coming as both test server and production server are having the same database.
Thanks,
Arun

Hi Niraj,
Thanks for the suggestion... I have checked the properties section of the reports and they include the mentioned data source..
I have deleted the reports from production machine and recopied them from test server but the result is still the same....
I guess I may be missing some settings which are essential at the time of moving reports between machines... I'm still trying to come up with some solution at my end....
Thanks again,
Arun

Arun..
Do one thing...please check the credentials once (I knw..u must have done this...but still)....I mean to say..abt the option "Credentials securely stored on Report Server.."..please provide valid credentials once and check..
Thanks,
Niraj
