I’m diagnosed with bipolar disorder and land somewhere on the autistic spectrum.
I was recently diagnosed with moderate stage 3 chronic kidney disease. That lead to a (hypo)manic episode where I irritate and yell at people as I change my medication from lithium to depokate.

While there are many private places to get peer to peer support, it is hard for new people to join them because they can't see the tone of conversation before going through the admissions process.
There is also typically a delay that can frustrate some of the people seeking support.
Remember that in an emergency care is best delivered in person or via telephone at 800-273-8255. You can also reach a text crisis line by texting HOME to 741741.
