  Hi ,

  I have a linked server with Microsoft OLEdb provider for sql server.

  I migrated it from 2000 to 2008. Should there be any changes to the provider it should use on the new server?

  Yes. You should start using the SQL Native Client (SQLNCLI10).

  There are no special teachers of virtue, because virtue is taught by the whole community.
