I would like an account option to permanently disable forum topic email subscriptions.
Occasionally, it gets turned on (not by me intentionally), and I end up with 50 or a 100 emails that I don't want.
I never want email notifications, so if there was a way to completely disable them, that would be great.

Any response?

Sorry for the delay.
Not that I know of. We have it set to default to the last setting you used for the previous post, so you can leave it as "no notification".
If you want to check, click "control panel" above, then scroll down and there are topic and forum subscription items.

The problem I have is that occasionally it does get turned on. I never change it intentionally, so I was hoping for some way to prevent it from getting turned on.

That's strange. It shouldn't go on.
AFAIK, there's not global (never send me email) setting.

I'll second the request for this. The once in a blue moon I actually want this I'll turn it back off.
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.
