Is there a way to protect against someone changing a DTS, similar to setting a file attribute to Read-Only? I know that you can password protect a DTS and this might be my selected choice, but how does password protecting a DTS affect the run-time characteristics of the package? Can you execute the package interactively, as well as scheduled as a job, without supplying the password?

You might find your answer in Brian Knight's excellent little article 'Locking Down DTS' in this forum

I'm sorry, I can't seem to find Brian Knight's article 'Locking Down DTS' in this forum. I conducted a search with these keywords and the only thing that is returned is this thread.
Do you possibly have the URL?
Thanks!!!
