We've got SSRS 2005 installed on an old server. It's the only working version of it we have, so I hate to mess things up with it. I've been asked to work on a report, and this is the first time in over a year that I've worked with SSRS.
So, I finished the report, and it will do what my management wants. Now I've got to get it onto the server into the Report Manager. I developed the report on the server, logged into my own account. I've got the report's Property Pages up, and where's what it has so far:
OverwriteDataSources: False
(I'm doing to leave it that way.)
TargetDataSourceFolder: Data Sources
(Again, I'm going to leave it that way.)
TargetReportFolder: CityMonReport
(this happens to be the name of my report)
TargetServerURL
Now, as far as the TargetServerURL goes, I think what I should do is use http://localhost/reportserver, since I developed this on the SSRS server.
The only thing that I'm wondering about is the TargetReportFolder. Right now we have things set up like this:
Bottom level has a folder called Management Reports.
Under that is another folder named Quarterly, where I'd like to put this stuff.
So, would my TargetReportFolder look something like this:
Management Reports | Quarterly | CityMonReport
Is that how it should be?
