Project plan for setting up the server?
Project plan for moving data to it from a different server?
Can you be more specific?

I suggest you start with the SQL Server 2008 R2 Best Practices Analyzer (BPA). You can also use the SP_BLITZ from Brent Ozar.
The results will give you a starting point of things that can be improved.

What information?
How to do it? (you should know that)
Reasons to do it?
Something else?
A project plan is a list of tasks and times to complete a defined project. No project, there can't be a project plan.

Honestly, it sounds like you might be way over your head on this one. I'd suggest bringing in someone with SQL Server experience. A good consultant should be able to help you get to where you need to go.

Is this an existing customer or one that haven't signed on the dotted line yet?

It takes a minimal capacity for rational thought to see that the corporate 'free press' is a structurally irrational and biased, and extremely violent, system of elite propaganda.

Society has varying and conflicting interests; what is called objectivity is the disguise of one of these interests - that of neutrality. But neutrality is a fiction in an unneutral world. There are victims, there are executioners, and there are bystanders... and the 'objectivity' of the bystander calls for inaction while other heads fall.
