  We run a daily trace of all commands going against our SQL Server. This has been running fine for over year now. But for some reason the Reads are not being captured. We are using the default template from the profiler. Any ideas why this happening?

  If you are looking at PhysicalDisk, I think you might have to switch them on with a command (and reboot):

  DISKPERF -Y
