Is it possible to give the right to run Profiler for developers without giving them sysadmin fixed server role?
I found on Microsoft site that the user account that is used to run SQL server profiler must be granted permission to connect to SQL server. The login account must also be granted permissions to execute sql server Profiler extended stored procedures. There are only 5 SP’s. I granted the rights to execute these procedures to the user but when he try to open the profiler the error is generated: the user must be sysadmin fixed server role.

No, because of the security implications, only sysadmins can run profiler.
